Title: Shocking puns
Post by: TonyK on July 06, 2015, 22:42:42
Moderator note: This pun fest has been split from the Thames Valley Infrastructure Problems thread.

I don't think you can generalise to the rest of Europe - each country's current state will be dictated by its own  history. The French 'classic' network happens to have ended up in a state rather like ours, but because the priority given to building the LGV network stole all the money.

Or no pun intended?

Just made contact with this thread. Some positive and a few negative reactions. Wonder if the bright sparks among the contributors  have reached full capacity yet ?

Don't know chuffed. I was talking to an atom only yesterday, when he stopped suddenly mid-sentence, and announced he had lost an electron.. "Are you sure?" I asked. "Yes", he said, "I'm positive".

A neutron walks into a bar and asks "how much for a beer?" The bartender says, "for you? no charge."

I heard that in an attempt to be taken seriously they were going to start calling themselves great crested neutrons...
