Title: Dwelling times (Bristol TM and Exeter St Davids)
Post by: Cruithne3753 on July 01, 2015, 21:07:19
I'm thinking about travelling from Bristol Temple Meads to Exeter on Saturday.  A couple of weeks ago I had a foot injury, cycling isn't so difficult, slows me down when walking though.  The tricky bit is the time putting my bike in the compartment on an HST and then getting back to the door in time.  I have been told that it stays at Exeter a bit longer.  Is this doable?

The first bit is checking your service is an HST.  There are precious few of them on that route during the week and weekends even less.

However if you speak to the platform staff before boarding and the train manager before alighting I doubt you will have a problem.

The train manager and dispatch staff are at the rear on the trains arrival at EXD. You usually have 2-3 minutes.
