Title: Weston Air Day Post by: John R on June 21, 2015, 22:14:58 Maybe I was unlucky but the 1320 NLS to WSM was only 2 coaches this afternoon. Arriving already very full and standing the 95 pax on the platform were never going to all fit on. At least 35 were left behind, and even more were disappointed at Yatton. I estimated at least 100 standing in my carriage - there were 20 in the vestibule I was in.
Appreciate that there were extra trains earlier in the day, but it did seem odd that the extra provision appeared to have disappeared by early afternoon. An hour to wait at WSM coming home, but I appreciate that with everyone leaving the show at the same time, some queuing was almost inevitable. And it was reasonably well organised too, so no complaints there, even if others in the queue were less forgiving.
