Title: Ticket cost 2 adults and 2kids Basingstoke to London + tube Post by: BerkshireBugsy on April 26, 2015, 15:16:57 Hi all, looking for prices for the above travelling on Saturday 2nd of May to include underground travel.
The two kids are 15 years old. I've tried putting this in train line and it gives me a figure of around ^70 when I select London all terminals Thanks in advance Dave Title: Re: Ticket cost 2 adults and 2kids Basingstoke to London + tube Post by: JayMac on April 26, 2015, 15:27:20 Any railcards?
And I hope you don't purchase from thetrainline. You'll always pay more there because of their fees. Have you considered purchasing a Network Railcard (^30 for one year), this gives you 1/3 off adult tickets (incl. up to three adults who don't have the railcard when travelling with you) and 60% off child fares. The Network Railcard fare works out at ^47.30 and then you have the benefit of a railcard valid for a year incase you make the trip again. I may look into the Family railcard - my wife (who is one of the two adults going) rarely travels by train so it is very much swings and roundabouts. Hi Devon_metro..the two adults that will be travelling will be my wife and my daughters boyfriends mother (still with me!) the two children are my daughter and her boyfriend. Can I use the Network Railcard to buy tickets for them if I am not travelling? Thanks Title: Re: Ticket cost 2 adults and 2kids Basingstoke to London + tube Post by: ChrisB on April 27, 2015, 21:06:03 One of the travelling adults needs to own the Railcard. The other option is I get it in my name and escort the kids to the O2 and wait outside for 3 hours...Oh what a shame - I've taking photos at a football tournament otherwise I would have done !
