Title: 8th April - did you see James Wilding? / Chippenham to (?) London Post by: grahame on April 11, 2015, 08:03:28 Jame's bother Steve writes ...
"I'm looking for information on my brother James (photo below) who left our house in Plough Lane, Kington Langley early yesterday morning (Wednesday) leaving a note saying that he was going for a short walk up Plough Hill. He has not as yet returned. James has been ill with a virus for the last 2 months and has not really left the house in that time. He also has some personal issues at the moment that are weighing on his mind so you will understand our concerns about him. We have been in contact with Wiltshire Police (who have been absolutely fantastic) and they have tracked his mobile to the Hill Corner Road area early Wednesday morning where he caught a taxi to the station telling the driver that he was ^going to visit friends in London^. We have been in touch with the friends in London that we know but they have not heard from him. Are you a dog walker who saw James walking in the Hill Corner Road area or possibly Birds Marsh early yesterday?? Maybe you're a commuter or train user who sat near him on the way to London or Bristol?? Any information would be greatly appreciated." And asks for public help. https://www.streetlife.com/conversation/1g3eljptb6zu5/ (http://www.wellho.net/pix/jameswilding.jpg) I realise how close to home these things are when I see my wife's TransWilts artwork in the background, and read that it was the Cheltenham train he joined ... if anyone has any information, please get in touch.
