Title: Reducing incidents of drunken accidents at stations Post by: IndustryInsider on March 31, 2015, 14:32:38 Interesting piece on something I've seen (nearly) happen on many an occasion:

cf Old Street Tube, Sunday. Similarly at Paddington, can't they stop people getting through the ticket gates if they are hammered on drink/drugs? I am aware of one recent case where BTP did a bargain with one person who was causing problems while "in drink". If he promised to button it, he could travel the 15 minutes to his destination. Not sure what the train crew felt about it. This page is printed from the "Coffee Shop" forum at http://gwr.passenger.chat which is provided by a customer of Great Western Railway.
