Title: Livery Changes / Vinyl Applications etc
Post by: thetrout on March 05, 2015, 23:46:27
Decided that a new dedicated thread should be created for this specific purpose. FGW have several trains with some form of promotional livery. So this is to upload photographs of the trains in question.

The 'rules' ideally would be to list the following

  • Date, Time and Location of the photograph (This is a must)
  • TOPS Number / Unit Number
  • Trains' working if applicable

The idea is we create a nice little archive for future reference.

So let me demonstrate.

Class 153325 on 05/03/2015 at Bath Spa. Working the 23:02 to Bristol Temple Meads.

The further views of the same unit at 18:11 at Melksham, on the 17:36 Swindon to Westbury, delayed by a few minutes due to the late running of the Paddington - Taunton train that calls at Swindon at 17:30.  153325.

Confession ... I usually do my best to make a passenger count, but was so busy photographing the train and the flow has become so great that it's no longer possible to count as an ancillary to taking photos.   Train was reported "full and standing" from Chippenham and a fair flow off, with (more accurate, this) 6 joining.  My best guess is 85/35
