Post by: DidcotPunter on February 21, 2015, 17:30:08 Reading West Curve already has the gantries in place so is being wired.
Didcot West Curve will also be electrified, the track under Basil Hill Road bridge is being lowered to accommodate the OHL Title: Re: Electric spurs? Post by: Electric train on February 22, 2015, 10:52:57 Some sections of line, cords etc may get wired yet will not see a timetabled electric train other than the odd occasional ECS, parts of the network are often wired for the purpose of power distribution / alternative feeding arrangements and a degree of future proofing.
