Toddler's head stuck in toilet seat in Devon

A toddler who got his head stuck in his trainer toilet seat has had to be rescued by fire crews.

The boy was stuck in the seat in Brackendown, West Hill, near Ottery St Mary in Devon after the potty training mishap.

Firefighters from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service removed the seat from his head just before 20:30 GMT on Saturday.

A spokesman from the service said the child was uninjured.

Imagine the headline-writers' delight, if only the family had lived in Seaton, just down the road ...  :P ::) :o ;D
