Title: Chippenham / Bath / Trowbridge engineering - summer 2015 Post by: grahame on February 15, 2015, 10:38:11 The Spring Bank Holiday in May sees the transfer signalling for the Swindon area to the new signalling centre at Didcot, and 18th July to 31st August sees the closure of Box tunnel for engineering / electrification works. From 1st to 31st August, the line at Bathampton Junction will be closed too.
Together, these changes will have major impact ... the Box / Bath closures effecting (in our terms) - Bristol Commuters - London to Bath and Bristol - Portsmouth to Cardiff - Heart of Wessex - TransWilts Rather than offer up subjects / discussions on each of these boards, I have started a thread at http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=15385.0 which is on the TransWilts board - and I will try to keep / post updates there as I learn more, and I'm encouraging wider discussion there too. Where something is line / area specific, by all means post in individual sections.
