Passengers waiting for a First Great Western service at Reading Station

Train services between Reading and Paddington are now running normally.

A person was been hit by a train at Twyford causing delays to the First Great Western services.

First Great Western (FGW) announced on its website on Saturday afternoon that delays of up to 20 minutes are expected to last until 4.30pm.

Passengers are being allowed to use their tickets via any reasonable route on Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry, London Midland between Great Malvern and Birmingham New Street, Virgin Trains, South West Trains and First Buses on routes 75 and 76.

FGW will be keeping passengers updated on the incident on Twitter using the hashtag #TwyfordTrains.
