Title: Summary of Christmas disruptions - own question now answered
Post by: Mookiemoo on November 27, 2014, 15:17:16
Hi

Does anyone know where I can find a concise list of the engineering alterations over the Christmas period ?

I'm trying to discourage a request for me to visit some places over that period because of lack of trains.

If you visit http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_disruptions/currentAndFuture.aspx and put in 28th December, you'll get a list of 27 different sets of engineering effecting travel that day.   I'm not going to tell you that, though, because we really shouldn't be giving you excuses for not using the train  ;)

Its more like my client was sort of trying to get me to attend site between Christmas and new year rather than working from home.

As I had no desire to do this, I was using the engineering works as a logistical excuse
