Title: Re: Over-running engineering works, 10 November 2014 Post by: grahame on November 10, 2014, 07:22:35 But ... for the most part, the services effected this morning are on the quieter very early end of their runs and are picking up their scheduled moves later - that's probably the bet damage limitation that can be done. And these things probably always happened - just we never knew about them until we had JourneyCheck and other sites.
Having made those comments ... someone who gets up early and gets to Truro for the 05:38 to London for a 10 O'Clock arrival there is going to be effected until around 11 a.m. this morning - later if they miss their Eurostar connection ... I inadvertently boarded this one (1L05) at Reading where it was already 68 mins late. It wasn't even on the screens ("this train is not scheduled to stop at this station") and I suspect it was further delayed switching the catering crew (and maybe more) to their correct outbound service.
