He's been mentioned a few times on this forum and I thought I'd give him his own thread.

http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=13026.msg141018#msg141018

Hector resides at Redruth station, has his own Facebook page and has featured in the local press.

A very friendly cat as well, likes being made a fuss of. Lives beyond the tunnel at the end of the platform I believe.

He's a lovely, fussy cat. It's a shame he doesn't like being picked up!

We have a pet squirrel at Bodmin Parkway. We call him squiggle!

If you can provide a picture of Squiggle, Rob T, I'll be delighted to give him a topic of his own, too!  ;) :D ;D

And ideally rob call the local paper, and get squirrel it's own facebook page,

I know nothing happens here but was the West Briton really so desperate for news to need a feature about a cat who goes and hangs out at the local station..

Hector has also recently been on Revenue Purr-tection duties:

With that stare I'd buy another ticket just to be sure.

Whilest waiting at Redruth station today I noticed there was a cat in the ticket office! Does this cat live there? Or is it just very friendly? First time I've come across this is there more around the country

That'd be Hector. He already has his own topic on the forum as well as a Facebook page.

http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=14515.0 :)

There are a few railway cats around the network. Often to be found in the diminishing number of traditional signal boxes.
