This would be the Harrogate Tap at, er, Harrogate station.

That would be correct, had a half has had 10 min's before train back you can access from platform or entrance.

I have been in another of the 'Tap' chain (Pivovar Tap Ltd), The Sheffield Tap, on a couple of occasions. Lots of ales and world beers to choose from. That one is also accessible from inside the station and out - at least for the moment.

As well as a couple of city centre bars in Leeds and York there are other station locations with the York Tap and Euston Tap.

I never realised these were part of a chain.  The Euston Tap and Cider Tap (just across the road) both come recommended by me.  They do however get rather busy and overflow onto the streets on a Friday evening.

Hi All,

Yes it was the Harrogate tap and I missed the one in Sheffield, which is an open station. I also did not know they were a chain untill I came back might go to the others on my travels again, perhaps they will get busy whan this is introduced up north.
