Title: Old photos of Thatcham station Post by: BerkshireBugsy on August 15, 2014, 07:34:02 I was speaking to an FGW employee yesterday who was looking to build a photo timeline of how Thatcham station has changed over the years but I am struggling to find any "old" photos of it and I am wondering if anyone here can help
I believe the station was rebuilt in 1987 so it's really photos before than. I can find one picture, from 1961, via this downloadable guide-cum-catalogue English Heritage Industrial Heritage Collections (http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/publications/archive-collections-industrial-heritage/). There may be more, but it's hard to be sure as they don't seem to have an overall accessions list or catalogue. Access to Archives (http://apps.nationalarchives.gov.uk/A2A/default.aspx) does not even find that picture.

He worked many signalboxes along the B&H and has published a number of books.
