If anyone is able / would like to join us, we'll be meeting initially in Bonaparte's, on platform 3 at Bristol Temple Meads, at 12:00, then probably moving on to the Knights Templar (Wetherspoons), just outside the station in Temple Quay, from 13:00 onwards. For ease of identification, and to avoid missing people as has unfortunately happened in the past, I'll be wearing my orange hi-viz vest. ::) ;D We look forward to seeing you there! I'm talking at 12:15 in Melksham on the history of rail in the town at part of the Melksham Heritage Discovery Fair ... and I have been busy writing my talk these last few days.
If you are free NEXT Saturday (12th July) make a diary note to come to Melksham (let me know what train you'll be arriving on up to 3 p.m.), hear the talk but much more polished after tomorrow's dress rehearsal, and walk with us in the carnival parade to hand out train leaflets, which came back from printing by one of the CRP members today. We will be early in the parade so you'll be at the station for a 20:00 train departure - big "thank you" to the organisers for having us near the front!
