Quote Additional trains for this weekend's Weston Air Festival First Great Western (FGW) is delighted to announce 16 additional trains will be provided to help Red Arrows fans travel to and from the Weston Air Festival this weekend, but customers are being warned to allow plenty of time. With aeroplane acrobatics enthusiasts flocking to Weston-Super-Mare^s famous air show, the Weston Air Festival, train services are expected to be busy over the course of the two day event. FGW^s Station Manager for Weston-Super-Mare, Matthew Morgan, said: "We are delighted that 16 additional trains will be provided to help fans return from town^s magnificent air show, but customers are warned to allow plenty of time, as a queuing system may be required to ensure customers can board services safely." To mark their 50th display season the Red Arrows will sport a striking new tailfin design at this year^s event. Also confirmed for the festival on the Sunday is the mighty Vulcan bomber.
