I'm surprised that Hounslow seems to have more holidaymakers (if that is what the definition of a Domestic Staying Visitor is) than Hillingdon. The majority of hotels serving Heathrow are within Hillingdon borough.

You'll find the overseas visitors going much more to Hillingdon, with poor Barking and Dagenham being very much off the tourist trail ... lots of other maps on the site; I could waste spend a lot of time looking at them!

I have spent a few very nice shortbreaks in Hounslow - I support Brentford and stay in a Travelodge just around the corner from the ground.  It's a good base to get out and about from too.
