Title: Been a while ... "where is this?" Post by: grahame on March 05, 2014, 22:20:02 It's a while since we had a "where is this" quiz.
All these pictures are ones I have personally taken so far this year; all except one have a railway connection. Please make just ONE guess each per 24 hours to give others a chance; if I tell you that you're incorrect, you can try again. The locations aren't unique in this quiz - simply a scattering of pictures from my journeys since the start of the year. To confirm - I DID photoshop out the destination board of the Routemaster at Imber as it said IMBER as the destination on there and that was just a bit too obvious! 4 ... is just a few miles out - not the Eithad Campus though. And a few miles isn't a huge distance when you look at public transport. Similar comment to "on the right lines" which I said earlier for the other outstanding picture - no. 6 - which is not Earls Court. (Why does everyone choose places with the initials EC to guess?) Why does the sign to the Kennet and Avon Canal on the Bath bound side of the station - the same side as the canal, and with an exit that will take you to the canal in an easy walk - send you over the footbridge?
