Title: Upgrading to First Class from a Rover
Post by: bobm on January 23, 2014, 12:44:36
I had a reference to this but cannot find it now.

If I am on a Freedom of South West Rover and am travelling from Penzance to Totnes what are the calculations for upgrading to First Class?

The First Class Anytime Single is ^37
The Standard Anytime Single is ^24.70
The Standard Off Peak Day Single is ^16.90

I cannot find any other walk up single first class fares other than the Anytime.

Is it the difference between the two Anytimes or the Anytime First and Off Peak Standard Day Single?

I think the excess should be the cost between the two Anytime fares. The manual states that for Rovers the excess charged should be the difference between the Anytime singles, or the difference between Off-Peak singles at Off-Peak times, if that is cheaper.
