But not Fishguard & Goodwick! Teleports from Kingham to Fishguard Harbour and then to Newcastle Airport. Any chance of attaching some mrk3s behind and using the consist in regular service? No need for HS2 then since they seem able to arrive before they leave, a journey time saving so massive the result is a negative journey time! ;D

That's arguable as there's a parallelism in play as far as I can see. The service gets you from North pole to anywhere (expect Fishguard and Goodwick) and back, but I'm not sure of intermediate physics.  And I question whether there are any chldren (let alone any good children) at Barry Links.

Might incur quite a number of delay minutes on the Cambrian if the stock is not ERTMS-fitted and has to be piloted by a class 37 (aka class 97).

I note it's not "Last Stop Frome" this year.    Santa had problems last year with children born in early December who wrote in telling him they were 3, 4 or 5 but then (when he turned up) required presents for 4, 5 and 6 year olds. So all he had left when he got to Frome were very young presents, and the youth of Frome were less that please with getting rubber / plastic ducks which were thrown out - made homeless - on boxing day, all seen floating, wet and cold, on the River Frome.

Remember - a dog duck is not just for Christmas.  If you really want your children to have a pet ... wait a few days and go and see one of your local rescue shelters once all the excitement of Christmas has died down.  Not only with this be much fairer in helping your new pet settle into a regular environment, but you'll also be doing so much good by the animal your rescue - each animal rescued is a place for another animal in the shelters.   They have too few places, and far far too many lovely animals that would be excellent pets simply don't make it.
