Title: Emergency Engineering between Didcot & Reading Post by: lordgoata on December 11, 2013, 21:53:57 Hi all,
Just being nosey, but does anyone know what the emergency engineering work was, that took place between 2pm and 5pm today on the Didcot to Reading relief lines ? Didn't really impact my journey but just curious as to what it was :) Title: Re: Emergency Engineering between Didcot & Reading Post by: Southern Stag on December 11, 2013, 22:55:39 The driver of a freight train reported a kink on the up relief line at Cholsey so it would have been closed to allow Network Rail staff to check it. As it was opened again reasonably quickly I guess the inspection revealed no problems.
