While I'm sure all three of those talks will be well worth attending, the one by local Bath resident railway historian Colin Maggs looks particularly interesting.

Went to the first lunchtime talk today.  Very well attended with over 100 there and standing room only.

Informative talk by Ed Batholomew of the National Railway Museum on Railway posters of the GWR.  As well as some familiar examples there were a fair few photographs and publicity material I had not seen before.

The programme of talks has been extended with three more lectures in the New Year.

^Monday 6th January^Railway Heritage Designation with Cllr Neil Butters
^Monday 13th January The Somerset & Dorset with John Baxter
^Monday 20th January Electrification - progress towards the future with Alistair Byers from Network Rail

As before all talks are in the Guildhall, Bath between 1.10 and 1.45pm
