Title: A new staff member at Bedminster Station

A Revenue Purrtection Inspector?

Cue more puns....

And a little note. I was a bit angry just now in another post, directing my ire at First Capital Connect. The perfect antidote for anger when using the internet is to post a picture of a cat with an accompanying pun.  ;D

I'll have you know that I was crouched down and composing the shot when Felix photobombed - jumping down from the wall/fence on the left. As he was in centre frame initially, my camera's autofocus picked him up and tracked him. That's why he's in focus and the distance isn't.

There are actually many more examples of quite excellent artwork displayed on the various walls at Bedminster Station (BMT) - if you do happen to be in the area, please do have a look!  :)

As promised, albeit belatedly. Some more examples of the excellent artwork at Bedminster Station:

None of the artworks are signed by their creators, but thanks go to whoever you are. They really brighten up the station and have thankfully been free of graffiti/vandalism since their installation.  :)

Thanks for posting those images, bignosemac.

Some of that artwork was commissioned from a local artist by the Severnside Community Rail Partnership, and local schools have had some input, too.

It has always been encouraging that any such artwork does seem to remain relatively free from deliberate damage. Sometimes it does need to be repaired or even replaced, but usually only due to the effects of weather, not vandalism.
