Title: Missed book train - ticket options Post by: johngreg on September 09, 2013, 11:41:09 If I miss a train that I have fixed seat reservation on, is there an option/chance to get any of the money back?
Title: Re: Missed book train - ticket options Post by: Chris from Nailsea on September 09, 2013, 18:46:30 Hmm. ::)
That rather depends: why did you miss your train? For example: was it because you were late, or your connecting train was late? The answer to that initial clarification will enable us to offer you a more specific answer, johngreg. ;) Title: Re: Missed book train - ticket options Post by: John R on September 09, 2013, 20:45:52 Also, did you have an Advance ticket, only valid on that particular train, or a more flexible ticket with a seat reservation attached for a specific service? (Many people are confused and believe they have to travel on a specific train because they have a reservation, when if fact the terms of the ticket don't require it.)

With the question being posed as, "If....?", it'd also be worth knowing whether this is a hypothetical scenario, or if it relates to something that has happened.
