- If so is there a particular code to give?
- Should I be able to get it on a self service machine?

Thames Rover is available at a number of stations served only by SWT, eg between Reading and Wokingham.  They should be familiar with it at any station on it's validity map, such as at Banbury (Chiltern).

(BTW, according to the NR rovers and rangers pages, the tickets in the relevant area are known as Thames Rover (3 day or 7 day), and the Thames Branches Day Ranger - the latter would clearly be an 'FGW only' product.)

Some rovers can also be bought on line from the FGW Website but can only be posted to you rather than collected from a TVM.  There's a fairly long lead time.  I think you need to order them at least a week in advance.

If I go to my local SWT station and try asking for the 1 day Thames Rover ticket, is there a ticket machine code I can give the staff that will speed up the process?

Can on train staff issue this ticket? I understand that the self service ticket machines are different again to those used by the staff on train?
