Title: Newport (South Wales) transfer time - URGENT advice needed Post by: johoare on August 08, 2013, 16:41:45 Hello,
Can anyone let me know, in the next hour and 15 minutes, if it's possible to change trains at Newport in 7 minutes from a Manchester Piccadilly train to a FGW London one with lots of luggage? My daughter is supposed to be changing at Cardiff but the London train is cancelled there and starting from Newport instead today.. It would be easier if she could do that as her seat reservations are on that train Title: Re: Newport (South Wales) transfer time - URGENT advice needed Post by: Southern Stag on August 08, 2013, 17:08:01 7 minutes should be fine, and I expect lots of people will be doing the same if the London train is starting there. They are booked from different platform islands, so she'll have to use the lifts. Even if she doesn't make it she'll be able to travel on the next London service because of the cancellation.
