Chris left the Board at the end of 2012. The Thamesdown Board is now looking to recruit a replacement Non-Executive Director to represent user interests. Person specification An interest in road passenger transport Preferably resident in Swindon or the locality Preferably a user of Thamesdown bus services Experience in running a business (not necessarily in public transport) Purpose of role To contribute to the work of the Board in determining strategy and policy for the business. To approve the Company^s three Year Business Plan and each year^s Budget. To monitor the financial and operational performance of the business. To approve the annual accounts and Directors^ Report. As part of the Board^s Remuneration Committee, to consider any pay award for the Executive Directors each year and to approve the Managing Director^s performance bonus.
