Originally uploaded to accompany a post discussing the pros/cons of Trenitalia versus rail in the UK, I decided to make them into a little quiz first.To aid, they are all take in the same country. First time, we came in from Peschiera on Lake Garda, arriving at a platform between a Eurostar and the Orient Express. You would have thought it was memorable.

4 is one of the waterbus piers in Venice. You can see the ACTV logo on the gates. Which particular pier I'm not sure, because I don't remember anything as big as this. I was surprised to be issued with my ticket on a disposable cardboard smartcard. The line is the yellow line (M3).Interestingly the power is overhead. Also full mobile phone coverage is available throughout the underground network.
