http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-23167112 I can't quote the whole item, but German trains and Sky Deutchland are experimenting with sending audio advertising through train windows. As you doze off after a hard day's work (or roving and ranging) and rest against the window, advertisers send their messages straight to your head. :o No plans for UK...so far! Post by: Andrew1939 from West Oxon on July 04, 2013, 11:47:35 I am hard of hearing and bought a Panasonic phone with this technology whereby you hold the receiver to your head somewhere near your ear. It was totally useless so unless it is significantly improved I can't see it being very successful.
