Title: Ticket gates retaining tickets Post by: Brucey on April 14, 2013, 09:13:04 From the Red Spotted Hanky website:
Quote from: http://www.redspottedhanky.com/frequently-asked-questions/train-ticketing/at-the-station/ Will ticket gates retain my ticket? Has something changed recently? I assumed barriers were still programmed to retain the ticket when they think (rightly or wrongly) that the journey has been completed. No, all of the gates at stations will return your ticket to you. I wanted to check before contacting RSH to let them know this page is incorrect. Some employers (mine included) get all worked up about expense claims without the actual tickets, so someone could make an expensive mistake by following RSH's advice.
