Quote Two fire appliances from Camborne and one fire appliance from Redruth are attending a fire involving gorse in a railway cutting. Approximately 15ft to 20ft flames were endangering passing trains, so a request has been made for all trains to be stopped. A Network Rail Incident Officer is on scene and with their permission, firefighters will be able to access the fire along the railway line to extinguish it. Update 1515hrs: Firefighters have extinguished the fire using one hosereel. Railway traffic is now running and the fire crews will be detained a short time making up their equipment.
