I wonder how crowded that one was! It wasn't a 153... OK ... I thought that the class 153 was the only one coach train operated by FGW. Jim - can you shed any further light on this ... was it really a one coach train of some other type, or was the report incorrect? Perhaps they're not - I've made a layman's assumption on this. The only trains that are one coach run by FGW are class 153. Their trin from Asuumption made - it was a 153. It could have also been an information error on their web site, or it could have been a 2 car unit with one car locked out of use for some reason. "Staff Shortage" quoted. Title: Re: Class 150 Unit Works Portsmouth - Cardiff Services (14/12/2007) Post by: Jim on December 24, 2007, 21:37:03 It was 150244 with lighting problems in the rear coach.

So digging around is required! A number of reasons may reduce a two car to one, lighting, suspension etc, but not staff shortages as our services can only convey passengers with both Driver and Conductor on board for safety.
