Interesting quote show's Crossrail hasn't woken up to the fact taht Slough will already ahve an electric rail service by the time Crossrail gets there

Trenches footbridge is being replaced as part of the Crossrail programme, which will provide a new electric rail service for Slough residents into central London.

Ironically it probably be better if than Crossrail if the fast Oxfords still run fast to Slough and Reading.

Or am I being pedantic.
