British Transport Police appeal for information following theft of cycle ^ Bridgwater

Do you know this man?

British Transport Police (BTP) officers are appealing for the public^s help to identify a man they want to speak to in connection with the theft of a bicycle from Bridgwater railway station.

Officers have today released a CCTV image of a man they believe will have information which can assist the investigation into the theft which took place on Tuesday, 11 December 2102.

Investigating officer, PC Lee Hamerslag, said: ^The victim left his blue Hybrid Carrera bicycle, worth around ^400, secured with a lock in the cycle racks at the railway station at around 7.05am. When he returned at around 5.50pm, he discovered his cycle had been taken. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the person responsible. I am now asking for help to identify and trace the man in this photograph as I believe he will have key information about this incident.^

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on Freefone 0800 40 50 40, or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. In all calls, please quote incident reference B4/WWA of 24/01/2013.

Have the BTP invested in a TARDIS? Something wrong with it if they have as that date is a Saturday, not a Tuesday. Surely by the 22nd Century we'll have hoverbikes rather than pushbikes (even fancy Hybrid Carrera's) anyway.
