Quote Buses, cars and lorries have been struggling to cope after snow fell across Hampshire. Towns and cities became gridlocked with police urging people to work from home if possible. Snow was expected to move through the county during the afternoon but ice could cause problems into the weekend. Title: Re: Skidding bus struggles in Winchester snow - 18 January 2013 Post by: devon_metro on January 18, 2013, 22:52:12 On my extensive travels on the roads today around Southampton it was apparent that buses couldn't even manage the main roads at certain points during the day as soon as vertical incline was encountered.
