Police seek information after theft of heater from station waiting room ^ Great Malvern

British Transport Police (BTP) officers are hot on the trail of man who stole an electric heater from the waiting room at Great Malvern railway station.

Officers have today released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft which took place on Wednesday, 5 December 2012.

Investigating officer, PC Carol Dade, said: ^A member of staff placed a heater into the waiting room on platform 1 at the station at around 2pm. When doing checks later in the day, the member of staff found the heater had been taken from the waiting room.

^After reviewing CCTV images, I would now like to trace and speak to the man in this photograph. If you know the man^s identity, or his current whereabouts, I^d ask you to contact British Transport Police straight away.^

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on Freefone 0800 40 50 40, or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. In all calls, please quote incident reference B8/WWA of 03/01/2013.
