Title: Announcement on the 1830 tonight ....... Was this correct... Post by: Mookiemoo on December 19, 2012, 18:30:46 "This is the very last peak train to the West Country so only anytime tickets are valid."
Now I agree with the validity bit, and I know it's been a while since I bought a ticket, but is it really the last peak train these days? Post by: Louis94 on December 19, 2012, 19:18:02 It is indeed, the Off Peak restriction is until 1831, with Super Off Peak being 1901.

If you define "West Country" as Taunton and beyond, then yes ... fares to Taunton 105.00 on the 18:03 (I assume we mean that rather than the 18:30 which is a Bristol service) 50.50 on the 18:33 39.00 on the 19:03 Title: Re: Announcement on the 1830 tonight ....... Post by: JayMac on December 19, 2012, 23:03:18 The 1830 could well be Off Peak to any number of destinations if you are changing and/or having an overnight break of journey en-route. Most of West Wales, Llanelli and beyond, for example.

Also the 18:03 is Off-peak if travelling to Newton Abbot or beyond.
