Title: Joined up thinking under LSTF - Wiltshire
Post by: grahame on November 04, 2012, 15:09:46
I've been researching / learning about some wider transport issues than purely the TransWilts line over the past few weeks ... with the new franchise, with the Local Sustainable Transport Fund, with the extra local funding to support TransWilts service initial ramp-up expenses (when income hasn't yet reached the level needed), with localism, and with an authority who are very much on side, this is a time of great opportunity to get it right.

How much do you know about the travel and transport metrics in your area, even if you're a regular traveller?  I've put some of the things I've learned into a quiz - please try it out [here] (http://www.wellho.net/demo/quiz.php) and see how you do.

If you represent a travel group in or near Wiltshire, please let them know about our linking wiltshire (http://atrebatia.info/link.html) meeting, where much of this backgrond information will come in to play.  And please pass on the link too - it's http://atrebatia.info/link.html
