Someone could answer this is Seconds, but which railway line ran it's last Passenger Trains 50 years ago today (on 3rd Novenmber 1962)?

But don't be late.....it closes for the winter after tomorrow!

Ironically the line also has the most recently closed station (albeit temporarily)

Thankfully, that was not the end and due to the extraordinary efforts of preservation volunteers, 1/8 of the line has reawoken from its slumber, with aspirations for more to follow. In al truth, a prazeworthy feat.  ;)
Too bad D6312 or one of its classmates is no longer around to close the circle.
