Yes, it looks like there was. In the Starcross area at just gone midnight with the 23:41 Paignton to Exeter St. Davids train. Can't get much more detail than that though. An absolute tragedy, but was any journalist involved in writing the story? Although only a 'nodding acquaintance' (they were employed in a different department) it brought into sharp focus the reality of never knowing what people are really thinking - our last conversation concerned a collection they were organising for a well liked soon-to-retire co-worker and there was no hint of any personal issues.
