Title: Why does Exeter need two staffed stations? Post by: The Grecian on August 20, 2012, 20:54:14 No not my view, but that of Philip Hensher.

Quite how he knows the staff are paid to do nothing is beyond me. Title: Re: Why does Exeter need two staffed stations? Post by: Ollie on August 20, 2012, 21:27:06 I do like the 4 comments :)
Ultimately the MP should have actually speak to FGW who can tell them what the staff are there for so it's actually an educated article.. Title: Re: Why does Exeter need two staffed stations? Post by: phile on August 20, 2012, 21:56:30 Exeter St Davids is on the trunk route abd Central serves the city sentrefor whereas St Davids is not convenient
Title: Re: Why does Exeter need two staffed stations? Post by: Southern Stag on August 20, 2012, 23:11:35 I'd of thought the real question is why does Exeter St Thomas have such poor facilities. It may only have one train an hour, but a lot of people use the station, especially in the peaks, I wonder how many of those use the station because of the higher chance of not having to buy a ticket, quite legitimately, as St Thomas doesn't even have a ticket machine. It's not even that inconveniently located for the city centre.
