Title: Class 143 seating capacity
Post by: TJ on July 21, 2012, 23:54:07
I have seen three figures for the seating capacity of FGW's 143s - 92 (Rail Guide) 104 (Platform 5) and 106 (Wikipedia).

Anyone know which is correct?

106, according to my information - from an illustration in an in-house magazine from FGW.  ;)

You could get on one and count them ;-)

Are they all the same ? I thought that some had a few less seats and an extra luggage rack.

I'll go for 92 seats + 12 tip-up seats, so 104 in total.  :)
