Title: Vandalism near Cheltenham
Post by: Worcester_Passenger on June 14, 2012, 11:36:10
A lot of disruption this morning, with the Cheltenham - Worcester - Malvern service being replaced by buses, as a result of signalling cables being cut just north of Cheltenham station. CrossCountry services much delayed.

BBC website has a report at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-18439177 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-18439177).

Was caught up in that about midday on the way to Newark, about 20 late into Brum, but managed to get my connection on to Nottingham.

Pretty reasonable communication from the XC guard about delay times and was out and about if PAX had any questions.
