Title: Can you name this couple? CCTV images released after cycle theft ^ Worcester Post by: Chris from Nailsea on April 07, 2012, 21:06:18 From the British Transport Police press release (http://www.btp.presscentre.com/SuperMail/Can-you-name-this-couple-CCTV-images-released-after-cycle-theft-Worcester-19dc.aspx):
Quote British Transport Police (BTP) officers are re-appealing for information after a cycle was stolen from Worcester Foregate Street railway station. Investigators have today released CCTV images of a man and a woman they want to talk to in connection with the incident, which took place on Wednesday, 11 January 2012. Officers have reviewed CCTV footage and have now released images of a couple, seen at the station at the time, who they want to identify and talk to in connection with the incident. PC Carol Dade, of BTP, said: ^The victim, a teenage boy, left his mountain bike which is worth around ^2,000 secured at the station^s cycle racks using locks at around 4pm. When he returned to collect his bike at around 7.45pm, it was discovered missing. We have managed to retrieve CCTV images that show a man and a woman with a pushchair, who were at the station at the time of the theft, and who we are keen to speak to. ^If you know who the people in these photographs are, or have any information that could help our investigation, we^d like to hear from you.^ Anyone with information should call BTP on Freefone 0800 40 50 40 quoting incident reference 555 of 11/01/2012. Now, far be it from me to criticise the quality of any CCTV images the police have 'managed to retrieve' in this case, but ... well, really! :o ::) :( I nevertheless wish every success to BTP in their investigation - just for the record. :-X Edit note: Images now removed due to expiry of copyright permission.
