A young friend of mine was caught up in this last evening. FGW kindly laid on a taxi for him and 3 other passengers at Bath Spa. He was going to Chippenham, the other three to Swindon. The taxi driver decided en route that stopping at Chippenham Station meant having to go out of his way and dumped my friend at the side of the road, leaving him to walk, in the dark, well over a mile to the station.

I know it's not FGW's fault but it still made me cross (not least because of the phone call I got about it late at night, well after I'd gone to bed). I recommended he filled in a complaint form, as it might at the very least mean FGW wouldn't use that particular taxi company again.
