The revelation in the "Herald Scotland" newspaper today that the Scottish Finance Secretary John Swinney has rerouted this ^50m to enable Scottish water to accelerate capital expenditure must raise questions about the future of the sleeper service.

And Holyrood has taken that money and diverted it elsewhere? That's the impression you get from this story if you don't read it carefully.
Forgive me, but billhooks. Read the story carefully. It's the (matched) Scottish ^50M that may be diverted elsewhere. There's no way Westminster would've signed off on ^50M for the Caley Sleeper and then let Holyrood do with it as they please. EDIT. Not a slight on you woody.
