Do you know this man? British Transport Police appeal for information after rail staff threatened ^ Bridgwater

British Transport Police (BTP) officers investigating are appealing for information following an incident which took place at Bridgwater railway station.

Officers have today released CCTV images of a man they believe will have information which can assist the investigation into the incident which took place shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday, 7 January 2012.

PC John Flower, the investigating officer, said a member of staff reported that he had been threatened by a man at the station who was attempting to travel to Bristol after the last train of that evening had already departed.

^Although uninjured, the member of rail staff feared for his safety,^ PC Flower said. ^The man in these photographs is believed to have been in the company of another man who may have been responsible for the threatening behaviour towards the member of staff. I would urge the man pictured here to come forward and speak to police about what happened.

^We do not believe this man was directly involved, but we believe he may have been travelling with the man responsible and, therefore, we^d like to speak to him so that we can rule him out of our enquiries.^

If you know this man, or know his current whereabouts, please contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. In all calls please quote incident reference B6/WWA of 09/02/2012.
