Title: Melksham Railway Development Group - 3rd February Post by: grahame on January 29, 2012, 16:28:48 Melksham Railway Development Groups meets - main items on the agenda are the LSTF bid by Wiltshire Council for works up and down the TransWilts line including an appropriate service of trains, and responses to the Greater Western Franchise.
3rd February 2012, Melksham Town Hall, 19:00. All welcome. Last Friday (27th January) was the Melksham Civic Awards for services performed for the local community in 2011, and the Melksham Railway Development Group was given an award - presented by our Mayor - for its works last year, with special mention being made of the success of extra Summer Sunday trains and the Santa trip in December.
